About Bespoke Paws | NYC Designer Pet Fashion | Our Story

In 2018, a NYC-based fashion designer adopted a rescue Yorkie named Brooklyn. Like many new pet parents, she wanted to dress Brooklyn in something special—something that reflected the same design sensibilities she brought to her work in human fashion.

But everywhere she looked, pet apparel fell into two categories: cheap and poorly made, or overpriced and still poorly designed.

So she did what any designer would do: she made something better.

What started as a single cashmere sweater for Brooklyn became a passion project. Friends asked where she got it. Strangers stopped her on the street. And Bespoke Paws was born.

We believe pets deserve the same level of design, craftsmanship, and quality that we expect from luxury human fashion.

Every piece we create is designed in New York City—the fashion capital of the world—with haute couture sensibilities. We use premium sustainable materials: cashmere, recycled cotton, vegan leather. We pay attention to construction details that most pet brands ignore.

Because your pet isn't just a pet. They're family. And they deserve to look and feel their best.

Sustainable Luxury We're committed to sustainable practices. From recycled cotton to vegan leather alternatives, we believe fashion should look good and do good.

Animal Welfare We partner with animal shelters and rescues to support the community that gave us Brooklyn. A portion of every sale supports animal welfare organizations.

Quality Over Quantity We don't chase trends or produce massive quantities. We focus on creating timeless, well-made pieces that last years, not seasons.

From that first sweater for Brooklyn, Bespoke Paws has grown into a luxury brand serving pet owners across the US and international markets including Tokyo, Seoul, and Shanghai.

We offer both ready-to-wear collections and fully bespoke custom orders. We work with specialty boutiques who share our values. And we're building a community of pet lovers who refuse to compromise on style, quality, or sustainability.

Brooklyn is still our chief inspiration (and toughest critic). Every piece we design has to pass the Brooklyn test: Would she wear it? Would she feel comfortable? Would she look impossibly chic?
